  • Megan S.
    Assistant Practice Manager/ Office Manager

    Megan is our office manager at East Maiden Animal Clinic and assistant manager at Hidden Valley Animal Clinic.  Megan started here in August of 2006 as an extern. She’s a graduate of the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh. Megan got into this field for the love of client education and, of course, animals. Megan has two dogs: Maggie, a lab-Bassett mix, and Jake, a Shetland sheepdog. She has three cats: Katee, Maya, and Nyxie. She also has two rabbits, a corn snake, and a fish. When she’s not at work, Megan enjoys spending time with her two kids, husband, and neighbors. She also loves to garden, read, and be outdoors in her spare time.

    Wendy started working at Hidden Valley Animal Clinic at the age of fourteen. She returned after graduating college in 1992. Wendy grew up traveling the country showing dogs and horses. Her interest in veterinary medicine includes all aspects of veterinary care, surgery, dentistry, and client education. Outside of work Wendy enjoys horseback riding, gardening, crafting, farming, and spending time with friends, family, and her French bulldog named Henry.

    Team Lead

    Jamie started working at Hidden Valley in 2011 after attending the Vet Tech Institute and working in emergency medicine. Before joining us, Jamie went to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and majored in interior design and architecture, and after two years, she decided to change her career path. Jamie has a soft spot for senior pets; she enjoys working with them and helping with the issues that accompany the aging process. When she isn’t working Jamie likes to travel, bike ride, and spend time with her boyfriend, friends, family, and her three dogs, Prudence, Charlie, and Kaya.

    Aubrey R.
    Team Lead

    Aubrey joined us in 2021. After graduating from Penn State, Aubrey managed an animal rescue in Miami where she hoped to make a difference for abandoned dogs and cats. She enjoyed learning the medical aspect of the job and working closely with volunteer veterinarians. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and her rescue dog, Dobby.

    CSR Team Lead

    Jessi has been on our team since 2003. Before coming to work here, Jessi attended Waynesburg University and graduated with a BSBA in finance and accounting. Jessi enjoys working with patients and watching them grow. Jessi has been with us for so long that she has built a lot of long-lasting relationships with our clients. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching anime with her son, listening to music with her husband, gardening, and scrapbooking. Jessi has three pets: Roman, a three-legged pit bull; Morgan, a wonderful laid-back old man cat; and Norman, her newest ornery, but cute, addition.

    Surgical Team Lead

    Brittany has been a veterinary technician since 2009 and joined our practice in 2020. She attended Pierpont Community and Technical College in Fairmont, WV. Brittany’s passion in this field is anesthesia and surgery.  She is our lead surgery technician and has done an amazing job keeping our surgery suite as efficient as possible. Brittany has two dogs, Chester and Daphne, that she enjoys going hiking with in her free time, and two cats, Meerkat and Spitfire. Brittany also enjoys gardening and attending concerts.

    Hollie joined our team in 2016. She has been a veterinary technician for quite a few years and went to school at the Vet Tech Institute. Hollie enjoys all aspects of the veterinary field and thrives on helping animals. She enjoys spending time outside and is rarely found without her dog, Josie. She is a fan of all spooky and Halloween themed things and is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to baseball and hockey. You can find Hollie and Josie active on any given day at a dog park or advocating for bully breeds everywhere. All species, breeds, and sizes are welcomed in the heart of this technician.

    Christina B. CVT.

    Christina has been with us since 2018 after graduating from the Vet Tech Institute in 2017. Before starting her career as a vet tech, Christina attended CCAC for criminal justice, but then realized that her true passion was in veterinary medicine. She likes working for a small animal practice so she can watch patients grow up and be a little part of their family as well. Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, reading, and attending country music concerts. She shares her home with her three pets: Toby, Crumpet, and Frank, who is the most special and handsome orange boy. Frank was found outside with a leash and harness on, and as soon as Christina saw him, she knew he was going to come home with her.

    Alyssa graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in 2018 and joined our team in 2019. She enjoys the anesthesia and surgery aspect of her position. In her spare time Alyssa enjoys camping, fishing, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with her animals. She has two dogs, Bear and Dixie, a cat, and fish.

    Abby started at Hidden Valley in 2020 after graduating at the Vet Tech Institute and completing her externship with us. Abby is very interested in learning about exotic animals. She loves and has quite a few pets herself. She has three dogs: Joy, Jax, and Stark, a cat named Tofu, and a turtle. She loves being outside and taking her dogs for walks in her free time.

    Hailey started with us in 2022. She joined this field because of her love for helping animals. Hailey's favorite part of the workday is seeing all of the golden retrievers that come into the clinic. Hailey loves to spend time with her daughter, her younger sister, and her pets: Sergio, Lilly, and her bunny, Winston. Outside of work, she likes to go shopping, hiking, and riding quads in the summer.

    Kayla originally joined Hidden Valley in 2012 after graduating from the Vet Tech Institute. In 2022, we were happy to have Kayla back after a brief break from veterinary medicine. Her favorite things about working in a small animal practice include getting to know patients and their owners, and having the privilege of watching those patients grow up. Kayla has dogs, cats, and two horses. She enjoys horseback riding, barrel, and pole bending.

    Nicole joined our team in May of 2023. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in 2014. Nicole became interested in veterinary medicine when her grandparents' beagle got hit by a car. She assisted in her recovery and rehab after she had orthopedic surgery. From then on, Nicole knew she wanted to help animals to get the care they need to live happy, healthy lives. Outside of work, Nicole spends time with her husband and son, and dog, Buster. She enjoys reading, cooking, baking, and gardening.

     A recent graduate of Kent State University with a major in Zoology, she had the privilege of interning at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium in the Conservation Education Department last summer. Currently, she is excited to embark on my journey at Hidden Valley as a vet tech. When not immersed in the world of animals, she indulges in my hobbies, which include binge-watching movies and TV shows, spending quality time with loved ones, exploring the Outer Banks, and delving into captivating books. Her loyal companion, Spartan, a 16-year-old mini dachshund, remains her constant source of joy and comfort. She is looking forward to more adventures and learning experiences ahead!

  • Nicole B

    Nicole joined our team in 2024. She is originally from New Hampshire and has a great love for the outdoors. She enjoys playing sports and was a Division I softball player in college, where she played both catcher and outfield positions. In her free time, Nicole likes to sing and play the guitar. She has two dogs named Oakley (a Lab/GSD mix) and Koa (a cattle dog/GSD mix), whom she loves to hike with. Above all, she is passionate about animals, which is what makes this job a perfect fit for her.
